Eric Hatch, Realtor & Industry Expert Since 1995

Native to California, my family moved to Auburn in 1979 and purchased my childhood home on Shadow Drive in Lake of the Pines, where I became familiar with the community delivering newspapers on my bicycle. After marrying my wife and business partner, Shannon in 1989, we went on to become the proud parents of Lauren, Carter, Madeline, Brayden and Gracie.

Together we purchased our first home in 1995, bank-owned, and experienced a great amount of frustration from the lack of concern and consideration on the part of the bank and their agent. Because of this, my interest in real estate was sparked. It was at this time I committed myself to always be sensitive to the feelings and concerns of others surrounding the sale or purchase of a home, as it can be one of the biggest decisions of life.

Now with over 27 years in the industry, my philosophy remains that a successful real estate transaction is a combination of two things; the strength of the relationship between agent and client, and the experience and expertise the agent brings to the table. When working with both new and repeat clients, it is vital we determine their exact needs, desires and goals before delving into the process of home sales or purchases. I take this process very seriously and vow to do right by my clients, ensuring they will never be pressured into a decision that does not feel right for their unique lifestyle.

In early 2009, I acquired Century 21 Foothill Realty, which has since merged with Century 21 Cornerstone under the Select Group, and have been striving to help others learn the real estate business. My goals are to pass my knowledge on and grow this office which has helped literally thousands of families relocate to this beautiful area I am blessed to call home.

Myself, and immediate and extended family of 29 are very active in the community, and well respected by my industry peers, and previous clients. I have worked tirelessly to build invaluable working relationships with other professionals throughout the industry such as title companies, attorneys, lenders, contractors and appraisers, all available at your leisure when choosing to work with me. Additionally, I have personally owned rental units, commercial real estate, and investment properties, giving me first hand experience in what it takes to be successful in many facets of the real estate industry.
