Country Club & Golf Course

Alta Sierra, the South County neighborhood of 6911, is located at the south end of Grass Valley right before Auburn.  It is home to the Alta Sierra Country club.  It also maintains a rural atmosphere of 4H clubs, horse properties, and hiking days.  It is reminiscent of a time when days were quiet, life was simple, and neighbors were willing to help one another.  Convenient stores and other small businesses are supported by a community which gravitates toward Ma and Pa shops and Grass Roots principles.  Alta Sierra is home to its own elementary school, proudly rated on 8 out of 10 on greatschools.org.
